Magellanic Stream

Magellanic Stream is a stream of high velosity cloud of gas extending from the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds over 100° from the galactic south poleof Milky Way galaxy. The stream contains the gaseous feature dubbed the leading arm. The stream was signed in 1965 and its relations to the Magellanic Clouds was established in 1974.
